What Is Endolift? A Guide to Non-Surgical Facelift and Laser Double Chin Reduction

The moment you look in the mirror and notice that your facial contours have surrendered to gravity, and that your jawline has lost its sharpness, an inner search for “What can I do?” usually begins. In the past, the only and inevitable solution was to lie on the operating table, have incisions made behind the ears, and accept a long recovery process.

However, advances in aesthetic medicine now call for patients to achieve equally strong results without a scalpel, without scars, and without stepping away from social life. Right at this point, the technology you have been hearing about so often in recent years, at the very top of the world of non-surgical facial rejuvenation, comes into play: Endolift.

One of the most common questions I receive in my clinical practice as a physician is this: “Doctor, is this procedure really an alternative to surgical facelift?” Let’s take a deep dive into this technology, discuss clearly how it differs from the imitations on the market, and explain how we manage this process in our clinic.

What Is the Original Endolift and Which Device Is Used?

On the market, you may see many different devices and applications under the name of laser tightening. However, a very large portion of these are non-standard laser systems. In our clinic, we use the one and original technology accepted worldwide as the gold standard for this procedure, namely the Eufoton Lasemar 1500 system.

As one of the few clinics in Turkey with this original device and protocol, we take on the responsibility of working with it.

Endolift is a special diode laser technology with a 1470 nm wavelength. Forget traditional lasers that fire from outside the skin surface. Here, everything happens completely beneath the skin. All fibers used during the procedure are opened in a fully personalized, single-use, and sterile manner. After the procedure, they are disposed of; in other words, hygiene and personalized medical standards are the basic rule of this treatment.

Verify Its Authenticity with Your Own Eyes

Not every procedure performed under the name “Endolift” on the market may be original. You can confirm directly from the manufacturer’s official global platform that the technology and protocol we use in our clinic are the fully authorized original system. To see our clinic and certified procedures on the official manufacturer approval list, you can review the original 'endoliftx.com' official verification and physician finder page.

What Exactly Does Endolift Do Under the Skin?

These micro-optical fibers, which are thinner than even a strand of hair (approximately 200–300 microns), are inserted into the subcutaneous fat tissue we call the hypodermis through the smallest entry points on the skin. The fiber triggers two very critical mechanisms at the same time:

* Selective Photothermolysis (Fat Reduction): Controlled thermal energy breaks down excess fat cells, especially under the chin and beneath the cheeks. In other words, it not only tightens the skin but also eliminates localized fat excess.

* Neocollagenesis (Collagen Surge): By stimulating the deep connective tissue, it restarts the body’s own fresh collagen and elastin production, almost like a factory.

When these two mechanisms combine, sagging tissues are mechanically lifted upward while skin quality is renewed from the inside out.

Which Areas Is It Applied To?

Endolift works wonders in almost any area of the face and body where we say, “There is a loss of elasticity here”:

* Jawline: Sharpening a blurred jaw contour without going under the knife.

* Double Chin (Submental Area): Eliminating double chin sagging and fat deposits that make the lower face look most aged.

* Midface and Cheeks: Lifting tissues that have descended with gravity and improving cheek sagging.

* Neck Area: Softening fine wrinkles and tightening laxity in the neck skin.

* Under-Eye Bags: Surgically easing under-eye puffiness with very delicate micro-fibers.

Step-by-Step Endolift Process: What Happens in Our Clinic?

The thing my patients are most curious about is the comfort of the procedure. Let me clearly summarize the process as we apply it in our clinic:

* 1. Planning and Vector Mapping: In front of the mirror, we examine the anatomy of your face, identify the sagging vectors, and mark the lines we will work on one by one with a pen.

* 2. Local Comfort: General anesthesia is absolutely not necessary. We apply local anesthesia to the micro entry points where the fiber will enter. During the procedure, you do not feel pain—only a mild sensation of heat.

* 3. Advancement of the Micro-Fiber: There is no scalpel and no stitches on the skin. The sterile fiber, as thin as a hair strand, is placed under the skin and guided by the physician with fan-like movements.

* 4. Completion: After the 45 to 90 minute procedure, the fiber is removed and a sterile closure is performed. The patient leaves our clinic walking and able to continue social life.

Endolift, Surgical Facelift, or HIFU?

If you have advanced muscle and skin sagging, surgery is necessary. However, in mild and moderate sagging, if you say, “Don’t put me on the operating table, but let my skin return to the vitality it had 5-10 years ago,” then Endolift is currently the most sensible and natural solution medicine has to offer.

Recovery After the Procedure and What You Need to Know

Endolift does not keep you away from social life, but remember that a controlled thermal procedure has been performed under the skin.

* Mild swelling (edema) and tenderness to touch during the first 48 hours are completely normal.

* Rarely, small bruises or temporary numbness may occur; these disappear completely within a few weeks.

* For the first few days after the procedure, we ask you to avoid heavy sports and extremely hot environments such as saunas and Turkish baths. Sunscreen, on the other hand, is our indispensable friend.

When Do the Results Appear?

The part of Endolift I like most is that it has two stages:

* Immediate Effect: The moment you get up from the chair, you can immediately see a 20-30% tightening in the mirror thanks to the thermal contraction created by the laser.

* Final Effect: The real show happens between 3 and 6 months. Collagen production beneath the skin surges, the broken-down fat tissue is eliminated from the body, and as your facial contours settle, that clear, rested, and youthful expression emerges.

This effect stays with you for an average of 1.5 to 2 years, depending on your personal metabolism.

Frequently Asked Questions

Because local anesthesia is applied to the entry points before the procedure, no sharp pain is felt during the treatment. You may only perceive a mild sensation of heat or tingling under the skin.

Never. This is not a filler or toxin application. It is a system that completely lifts the anatomical contours of your own skin and stimulates your collagen. It never creates a dull or artificial look; it looks one hundred percent natural on the face.

No. Since the fibers are as thin as a hair strand and no surgical incision is made, there are no permanent marks left on the face.

We do not recommend this procedure for pregnant women, those with active skin infections, people with blood clotting disorders, and cases with very advanced severe muscle sagging where surgery is necessary.
